Spinning Solar Toys
Solar is making its way into solar spinning toys. We all had a top, when we were little, or most of us did. Jacks were also a big thing. Then, there was the ultimate spinning toy – the merry go round. Today, spinning toys can be powered, even if very small to spin on their own.
Is this trivial? Well, consider a top that spins normally by the user. It feels and acts the same way. The only difference is that it can spin for very lengthy periods of time because it has its own power source. Now that will make spinning a top a lot more interesting. Then, when you get a bunch of them going at the same time, you can ultimately create some much more interesting toys.
For example, the Tops Fanfare company is working on creating fifty tops that spin, in succession, into a pyramid of sorts. The different ways you put the tops together and you get very different outcomes. It is all interesting because the toys move in such different ways as each user puts them together.
The merry go round is pretty neat because it gets you so dizzy in such a short amount of time. It, of course, is fun to run around it and try and catch your friends. However, think about a solar merry go round that can keep going on its own power. You can get your friends really really dizzy that way.
