Solar Windows
If you look at a traditional window, you will notice that most current windows are double paned. The double paned windows lose less heat because the second pane catches heat that was lost by the first pane. The best windows are tightly sealed and are good at keeping the temperature steady.
If you think about a thermal solar panel, it is built in much the same way. There are often two panes of glass with something in the middle (water tubing). Thus, the windows have remarkable abilities to have solar incorporated into their designs.
