Solar Stock Index Fund
There was the internet bubble, the real estate bubble, and maybe an energy bubble. Bubbles are not all bad. They create massive amounts of money to develop industries. For example, web companies were able to get access to massive amounts of cash to build up the internet. This was important for the internet backbone and for the massive infrastructure to be laid.
The real estate bubble has some good effects as well. More people were able to get into homes than ever before. Builders built as fast as they could and it made an abundant supply of homes and office buildings. Of course, nobody likes an oversupply, for their home value, but there are a lot more homes to go around than there would have been, not the boom taken place. Once markets readjust pricing, people that need homes will be able to have a better selection at lower prices.
The energy bubble is coming. People are really standing behind alternative energies and keeping up with the green movement. This will be good for consumers. People will finally take energy seriously enough to get off of grid. This process will take massive amounts of research, cash, and execution. The only way to pull it off is to have companies well funded. The stock market is the perfect place to pull that one off.
Like other bubbles, many people will get extremely wealthy off it and many others will lose their shirt. The key point is to have an exit strategy. Before you purchase, you should know what signals to look for and when to get out. It's a difficult process, but must be done even if it isn't perfect. There are lots of new alternative energy startups every day and only a handful are going to make it. Picking the winners will be extremely difficult. That is why many investors stay out of high growth markets. It is so hard to pick winners. Still, you can profit handsomely by simply exiting before the market takes a nosedive.
