Solar Light Bulbs
One way to save energy is with a solar light bulb. You might think, "But how can the light bulb get energy?" Is it just from at typical photovoltaic array?" Well, the solar light bulb is a bit more creative than that.
The solar light bulb looks and functions exactly like a regular light bulb. The only difference is that the outer class is charged to accept light as a way to charge itself. So, "Are the bulbs going to get any power, if they aren't hooked up to the grid?"
That's a great question. The bulbs will need to be incorporated with other lighting techniques. For example, a home may have 65% solar light bulbs and then another 35% of compact fluorescent lighting and led bulbs. The lights under grid power will power the solar bulbs that will run on their own energy.
Then, a special high grade glow in the dark film is integrated into the bulbs to enhance light output.
