If the home is properly configured for passive solar, the south facing wall will get the hottest. This is a good place to put a solar air heater. The heaters are designed to take the extra heat, from the wall and circulate it into the air. The solar heaters are connected to an external solar collector that is built into the wall that holds the hot air.
