There are codes or laws that are written that either promote sustainable energy or codes that discourage it. For solar to work, laws need to be friendly to solar power. Consumers should know their rights and be able to protect them. There is an organization that is focused on this one issue. It is called the Solar America Board for Codes and Standards.
